In the foyer through the month of August, a container filled with the names of students and faculty from the GIBC family are available to pick up for prayer. Grab a paper from the container then pick up a prayer guide/bookmark for ideas to pray for that student or teacher during the school year.
Sunday, August 6th. Island Kids & Island Students move to the Bible Fellowship Group that matches their grade.
Saturday, August 7, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at the GIBC Softball field. Come play or watch a softball game between Grand Island baptist and HomeTown Baptist.
Wednesday, August 9, 2023, All classes (Nursery, Island Kids, Island Students, & Mid Week Service) will resume their regular time of 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday, August 9th at 6:00 p.m., Island Kids & Island Students will have a fun time getting ready for the coming school year with their Back to School bash. Come for food and fun!
Saturday, August 12th at 9;00 p.m., Men are invited for a delicious breakfast and encouraging fellowship.
Sunday, August 27th after service, Ladies come for a time of good food and fellowship at a potluck social. Sign up on the back of your connect card or call the church office. Please write the dish you are bringing on the sign up sheet in the foyer.
The GIBC Regularly Scheduled Quarterly Business Meeting for Fall 2023 will be directly after the service in the sanctuary. Members are encouraged to stay.
