Where are you located?
We are very easy to find. Grand Island, Florida is a short drive from the Leesburg, Tavares, Mount Dora and Eustis communities. Our address is 13229 County Road 44, Grand Island, Florida 32726.
What time do Fellowship Groups and Services start?
Our small groups begin on Sunday morning at 9:15. This is a great place to learn about God's Word and get to know others. Worship begins at 10:30.
Contact our office for more details.
For what age groups do you offer classes?
We have classes for children, young adults, senior adults, and all adults in between. If you are on your own you are not alone! We have opportunities for you to get to know others in your same walk of life. If you are coming as a couple, we have small group opportunities for you as well. GIBC seeks to grow strong relationships and strong families. If you have small children, we offer Children's Worship during our morning worship service as well. See our Children’s Ministry page for more details. If you have youth, see our Student Ministry page to find out more about our growing youth ministry.
Do you have a nursery?
If you have small children, you will want to know that we offer loving care in our nursery for ages birth through three years. When you bring your child to the nursery, you will receive a numbered pager that will correspond with a number on your child and their belongings. Rest assured that if there is a need, you will be contacted.
What should I wear?
Dress for Sunday morning is generally "one step above jeans," although some do save their nice jeans for Sunday morning. Some will be wearing suits, while many others will be a little more casual. We encourage everyone to dress conservatively and modestly. Wednesday nights are more casual, although still conservative and modest.
What is the worship time like?
Our worship time is one of celebration! We sing a variety of music, ranging from classic hymns to modern worship songs. Sermons are always based in the scriptures, with the desire that people understand God's Word better as a result of being with us.
